Association for the Promotion of the Renewable Energy Cluster
A growing dynamic network
Founded on 29 September 2010, the Association for the Promotion of the Hamburg Renewable Energy Cluster (EEHH e.V.) is the central platform for all industry players in Hamburg and the Hamburg metropolitan region. As a link between companies, universities, institutions and the public sector, its aim is to develop and strengthen sustainably the position of Hamburg and its metropolitan region as a service and production centre of the regenerative energies industry.
A special aim of the Association is to promote cross-industry synergies, especially in the Hamburg metropolitan region. There are many points of contact with other industries, mainly in materials research and aviation, the maritime economy and logistics.
The Association holds a 49% share in the cluster agency Renewable Energy Hamburg and thereby optimally bundles the industry’s expertise by means of the Association’s networking and the Agency’s operative work.
